Company Nurse (Occupational Health Nurse)

The nurse will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee the management of the OSH program in coordination with OSH committee
  • Monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operations with the participation of all employees
  • Coordinate health and safety programs of the company
  • Maintain accident record system
  • Provide assistance to government agencies during safety and health inspections
  • Ensure the treatment and lactation room facilities and equipment are well maintained
  • Manage inventories of medicines, medical and safety supplies
  • Acts as a backup for certain duties of HR
  • Monitor medical card, insurance card, and Annual Physical exam
  • Monitor pre-employment and employment health checks
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) must have the following:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Training as an occupational safety/health nurse (preferred not required)
  • Experience of at least 1 to 2 years as a OHN or hospital nurse
