Company Nurse (Occupational Health Nurse)
The nurse will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the management of the OSH program in coordination with OSH committee
- Monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operations with the participation of all employees
- Coordinate health and safety programs of the company
- Maintain accident record system
- Provide assistance to government agencies during safety and health inspections
- Ensure the treatment and lactation room facilities and equipment are well maintained
- Manage inventories of medicines, medical and safety supplies
- Acts as a backup for certain duties of HR
- Monitor medical card, insurance card, and Annual Physical exam
- Monitor pre-employment and employment health checks
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) must have the following:
- Registered Nurse
- Training as an occupational safety/health nurse (preferred not required)
- Experience of at least 1 to 2 years as a OHN or hospital nurse
