ER Nurse

Emergency room (ER) nurses are healthcare professionals who focus on caring for patients who are experiencing medical crises that require fast medical intervention to avoid long-term disabilities and/or death.

Responsibilities:

• Taking Vital Signs
• Inserting IVs
• Taking Blood Telemetry
• Basic Life Support
• Triage patients as they arrive at the ER
• Assist with or perform tests like blood tests
• Maintain Patient Chart Notes
• Collaborate with the rest of the ER team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Observe and Monitor Patients
• Test Medical Equipment and Stock Rooms

Qualifications:

• BS in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN)
