OR Nurse

Operating Room Nurses are registered nurses who provide care for patients before, during, and after surgeries.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare patients for, and assist with the examinations and treatments.
2. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
3. Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
4. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipments and supplies and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
5. Pull our patients’ records accordingly.
6. Perform as scrub or circulating nurse during surgery.
7. First aider
8. Assist doctors during consultations.
9. Encode patients’ charts.

Qualifications:

• BS in Nursing (BSN) National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) Certified Perioperative Nurse Credential (CNOR)
