Nightingale Nursing Services deploys nurses and caregivers to communities, hospitals, and healthcare institutions anywhere in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. Private Duty Nurses (PDN) handle major cases with complications, patients attached to a respirator, and other contraptions. Tasks include performing independent nursing functions such as patient assessment and ensuring patient safety in doing routine personal hygiene. This also includes vital signs monitoring, tube feeding (via NGT or Gastrostomy tube), insertion and removal of foley catheter, change of dressings, suctioning secretions orally or via tracheostomy, bed making, turning, and lifting patient, perform passive range of motion exercise, reporting significant patient observation to the attending physician and also provide health education to patient and relatives in relation to diet restrictions, medication actions and its side effects among others.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities as a private duty nurse can vary greatly based on the patient assigned to you. It is often an important part of private duty nursing to be discreet and have good communication skills between the patient, caregivers, and their doctors. It is also vital that you’re able to work in often changing environments, such as between a hospital to a home, or other settings. Your work day may involve going to one or more client homes and performing routine health checks and addressing any care needs. Although most of Nightingale’s clients require more attention and may need a private duty nurse at home for 10-12 hours. The greater the limitations of the client, the more complex your role as a private duty nurse will be in providing overall care. For example, assist patients with feeding tubes, intravenous drips, tracheostomy care and maintenance of healthcare equipment, such as ventilators.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse (PRC)
- Current – Basic Life Support (BLS)
- No experience, no problem
- With good communication skills
- Able to adhere to codes of confidentiality
- Recent training certificates (if there are any)
- Recommendation letters (for Nurses with experience)

Benefits:
- Net Pay of 2,200 / 12-Hour Shift for non-COVID+ cases
- Minimum Net Pay of 4,200 / 12-hour shift for COVID+ cases Plus applicable allowances
