Vision: The UPHSD College of Nursing, Las Piñas Campus is envisioned to be the premier College of Nursing South of Metro Manila. It shall produce nurses who are competent, committed, compassionate and caring health professionals who live well balance lives in a transcultural society.

Mission: The purpose of the UPHSD College of Nursing is to educate its student to become competent, committed, compassionate and caring nurses. In the fulfillment of this purpose, we believe that our responsibility is to God first, and to country, second. They aim to educate the students for service to God through service to His people. Quality education for God and country is focused on the needs and character of the Filipino people, is based on scientific rationale, enriched through experiential learning, directed towards the holistic development and the moral and spiritual upliftment of the student as a person, as a professional and as a citizen. Cognizant of the vital role of the faculty and of the support staff in the provision of quality education to its students, the college commits itself to uplift their professional and socio-economic status.

They aim to nurture this mission, the college shall establish and maintain an academic community that adheres to the Christian ideals of justice, fairness and honesty in its relationship with students, parents, faculty and employees. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum is structured around the theories and philosophies of science, humanities, and other related interdisciplinary studies stressing on critical thinking, health, human constructs, social relations, care and therapeutics, and health care resources. Students also undergo rigorous clinical practice in the university’s own tertiary teaching and training hospital and other specialized institutions for a comprehensive experiential learning.
